Personality:

Utena used to come across, first and foremost, as someone almost childishly naive. This was an entirely true perception, but her motivations were far more complex. Her naivette was semi-deliberate. Utena had a view of humans that seeks the good in almost everyone, consigning a few to the role of villain. This tended (and still tends) to lead her into trouble, allowing her to be manipulated by those who hid their true faces.
Since the end of the duel game and receiving the million swords of hate, cynicism has started to creep into her personality. The trouble is, with her loss of memory, she knows no more about the roots of this cynicism than she does about the roots of her idealism. Both spring from some event in the time before she woke up in the hospital that she cannot name or apprehend. Her recollection is entirely in terms of archetypes: Witch, Prince, Knight, Monster, Queen, etc. Encountering people who also fit those archetypes neatly may trigger her, PTSD style. Especially triggering are Witches and Princes. She has some sense of herself as a failed hero and it has given her a (completely new to anyone who knew her before) tendency to brood. Still, she often manages to shake off the rainclouds by calling on her previous stern optimism. But not always.
This isn't entirely a bad thing though. The strength of her idealism makes her brave and determined, able to leap into the fray and fight against almost impossible odds. It also makes her compassionate, willing to take risks for those she thinks need her protection. Cynicism has begun to temper this, allowing her to at least make a detect manipulative bastard roll, rather than automatically failing it.
Being from a feminist allegory, she's a natural feminist herself. Telling her that a girl can't do something will lead to scorn. Persisting in saying so will lead to challenges. She's not afraid to tangle with anyone (well OK, she is sometimes afraid, but she'll suck it up and fight anyway). This doesn't guarantee she'll win of course, but between her iron will when it comes to such matters and her natural athletic talent, she has a pretty good chance.
She's a fairly physical person. When needing to blow off steam, she usually expresses it in playing sports or some other athletic activity. When she's nervous or uncomfortable, she has a tendency to start stretching. This is a pretty deeply ingrained habit, so being around her might net you the comical sight of her doing spontaneous lunges at a black tie function.
Speaking of physicality, the topic of sex and sexuality is something that makes her somewhat uncomfortable. Her orientation is somewhere near the middle of the Kinsey Scale but the act itself is associated with bad memories for her. Coming on strong will result in her freaking out and probably punching you (but trying to be subtle will result in it going over her head; it's a no-win situation).
As the previous paragraphs probably showed you, Utena's a kind of a go-my-own-way individual. She's not a snob about it, she won't wear her hair in a mohawk (it's pink anyway) and call you a sheeple but she will stick to her own way of doing things, which includes wearing boy's clothes. Anything less would feel like a bit of a betrayal and she has this nagging sense that she's had more than her fair share of those...

Weapon:

Name: Nobility

Form: A white rose with a four foot long stem. Although as flexible as any other rose stem, it appears to be uncuttable by normal means, making it useful as a whip or grappling weapon. Its thorns are viciously curved backwards, to catch in skin or clothes. It seems to twine slowly around whatever it touches. Note that the thorns are also capable of penetrating its owner's skin as well. They don't discriminate!
